Day Thirty-Three:

Top of the mornin to ya, I got up at 4:30, made Peets, and I finished the blog from yesterday. We will skip the news today! I have an idea for getting back to writing one of my stories. It really requires input from the people involved in this non-fiction piece. “Long Strange Trip” is the story of myself and two friends that traveled the US and Canada in a VW Bus in the early 70’s.

Erin and I did a 3 mile walk today…

We got back, sat on the patio and had coffee and tea.

I got online and bought all of the parts to convert our pellet burning stove to a propane fire pit. Flames will come drifting through lava rocks, I think it will be cool.

I watching, One World: Together At Home Special to Celebrate COVID-19 Workers. It’s on YouTube live. It will be on until 4 pm, then it switches to network TV, on three networks. Wow! Lot’s of music and interviews from all over the world. Pretty damn cool!

Erin and I, all of our family and friends are absolutely blessed to be healthy and comfortable in our homes. So many others are sick with no where to go or sleep. All of us that are well and have shelter should never loose sight of those that are not so fortunate!

At four-o’clock we got on Zoom with Erin’s sister Jackie in Portland Maine, her relatives in Massachusetts, and her nephew in Nevada. It was great fun. We were at a temperature of near eighty degrees, and it was snowing in Massachusetts. Her nephew Michael put a bunch of old photos up on the screen and we loved it. It’s a great way to get every-one involved while most of us had wine and beer, and we all commented on the pictures. I really enjoy her family!

I barbecued hot dogs, we ate them with all of the fix-in’s and had salads, while we watched the One World: Together At Home Special streamed on CBSN online. Remember, we don’t have cable TV anymore. Hallelujah!

We did our own things and then hit the sack…
