Day Forty-One:

Another night of sleeping with no covers, I got up at 5 am, filtered Peets, and finished the blog from Yesterday. Today will be a no news day. I will be in the writing chair making stories up, not reading them in the news…

I went for my walk at about 6:30, I did about 2 1/2 miles. Sunday early is great, there were only two other people on the track. I came back and cooled down on the patio, I burned some balsam fir incense, and enjoyed the coolness of the morning. The balsam fir incense reminds me of being in the woods on a summer day. When I smell it, it makes me think back to camping in Yosemite when I was a kid.

Erin slept in this morning, her new tradition on Sundays. She doesn’t sleep very late but reads in bed and has her own time.

I am now upstairs in the writing chair ready to work on “A New Frontier”

I wrote for over six hours today, I did 3000 words, A New Frontier is now at almost 50,000 words…I think I am getting somewhere.

I ate a big salad for dinner, Erin read my last two pages, so I could get an idea of how a surprise scene worked, and she liked it…Good Night.
