Day nine:

I woke up just after 4 am, made coffee and looked at the news. I worked on "Indivisible Space" and wrote in the blog. The internet seems okay in the early hours, but seems to fade by mid-morning.

Erin and I did our walk and returned home.

I printed the PDFs that were emailed to me. I then filled out my part of the forms and put them in an envelope, addressed it, and put a stamp on it.

Erin and I got in the car for the first time in nine days, and drove to the post office. I walked it in, posted the letter, went back to the car and used a disinfecting wipe on my hands.

We decided to go to Harvest House to get a few items. It is a small health food store very close to our condo. It only had a few people inside and everyone was keeping distances. We checked out and used the wipes again.

When we got home we washed our hands and cleaned all the items from the store with wipes.

I got on the laptop and went to the Unemployment website, started registering, kept running into one issue after another. The internet went out twice and I had to re-enter information. Erin walked over and put a freshly baked biscuit next to me to help me cope. It had lots of butter and hit the spot. I washed it down with a beer and finished-up three and a half hours later. Whew!

I barbecued small steaks for dinner and had a Gin Ricky, Erin made veggies and we ate.

After dinner I texted my boss from work to see if he could give contact information on our Cobra. I got no answer.

Erin and I watched TV and went to bed.
