Day Fifty-Three:
I got up at 4 am.
I read an article that PG&E will be shutting off power in Concord at 9 am. It was almost one-hundred degrees yesterday, and it should be at least that today. I guess their plan was to shut it down for about eight hours, but after complaints from people sheltering-in-place they said they would try to do there work in four or five hours. It’s part of a new system they are building that will automatically shut off power when there is high fire danger. It is what it is!
It’s 7 am and I haven’t done my walk, Erin is ready for her’s, but I will probably do a short bike ride and a short walk in a little bit.
I took a day off from walking today…
I thinned out some more radishes and planted them in a couple of pots containing succulents. I didn’t want to waste my healthy seedlings so I replanted about twenty.
nine-o’clock came and went and no power shut off. By noon I figured we wouldn’t be loosing power.
I worked on proofreading ANF for the afternoon, and ended-up editing some more stuff…
I barbecued cheeseburgers and buns for dinner and Erin and I watched a movie with Woody Harrelson, “Zombie Apocalypse”.
THIS WILL BE MY LAST ENTRY IN SHELTER-IN-PLACE… Good night…
