Day Twenty-Six:

Good morning, I slept in this morning, I got out of bed at a little after 6. I made coffee and ordered some pasta from Amazon. Woo Hoo!

Erin came downstairs at about 8, and I told her I wasn’t going to walk with her this morning. She was cool with that and did her stretching and hit the trail.

While she was gone I worked on making home made hand sanitzer. I went on the CDC website and got their recommendations. I had 2 1/2 ounces of 91% isopropyl alcohol, probably the least amount I had ever had in my life. Oh well! I had a tube of 100% aloe vera. The site said that the formula was 2/3 cup isopropyl alcohol, to 1/3 cup aloe vera, and up to 10 drops of essential oil. The essential oil was optional, it was for a pleasing scent, I used peppermint. I recalculated for the amount of alcohol I had and mixed the potion. I found an unused 2 oz. spray bottle and cleaned a travel shampoo bottle and filled the containers. I did a test spray and was amazed at how just the right amount came out, and how great it felt on my hands. Very cool! I like it better than the gel stuff. I will now be making my own from here on out.

I forgot to tell you that the other day, I can’t remember which one, I got a cable bill that had raised our bill by a hundred bucks. I was pissed, so at about ten-o’clock at night I got on the horn to get it straightened out. After finding out what had happened I did something I had wanted to do for a long time, I cut the cord. We now have no cable box with that no cable TV. We have internet with a phone line only. Twenty five dollars cheaper and one hundred-twenty-five cheaper that our latest bill. The phone line is for our alarm system, which might be going away soon. When I took off the splitter and cable to the box it seemed to make the internet faster. Double score!

Time for dinner..

I am going to watch YouTube tonight and then hit the old sackolla…
