Day Twenty-Seven:
Happy Easter, whatever that means to you. And I don’t have any problems with whatever you believe.
Some how this Easter seems more like another story from the bible: The Ten Plagues of Egypt, well maybe just one. But it’s here and we need to deal with it as best we can. The wake-up call is that the unimportant petty things around us are not that important. Bright spots and positive outcomes might not happen that often, but life goes on in spite of it all. Death has been knocking on many doors lately and taking its toll on all of us.
I believe that this Easter should be a Celebration to honor those who have passed and a Thanksgiving for those who remain!
Good morning to everyone, I got up at 4:30, made Peets and wrote in this blog. It is time for my morning walk, and this morning Erin is sleeping in…
I did my 2 1/2 mile walk, got home had a cup of coffee, then moved all of our DVD’s from upstairs to shelves in the closet under the stairs making room for more books. Things are getting more organized since I have been home. Amen!
I then spent hours going through old digital storage trying to find copies of the 15 podcasts I did ten years ago. No luck! I missed my renewal on my podcast site and all of my stuff disappeared, and the hard drive I had it stored on at home rolled over and died. Each one of those podcasts took me eight hours to produce, not to mention the time to write them. Big bummer. With digital work you live and learn. I now have a system for back-up that stores it in three different places, one of them is in the cloud. All of my writing is backed up the same way, but when I finish three chapters I print it.
We had dinner and watched Saturday Night Live done from their homes,Tom hanks was the host. It was fun, but not quite the same.
I am finishing my blog and will soon hit the hay…
