Day Fifty-Two:

I got up at 5 am, read the news, regretted reading the news…

I know I wasn’t going to talk coffee every day, but I have been drinking Trader Joe’s french roast this week to conserve my Peets. It’s not bad at all, although Peets is the best. Nuff said!

I did my 2 1/2 miles, while I was cooling down I started thinning the radishes.

I was astounded at the number of radishes that had popped up, I started plucking the seedlings and putting them in other places in the little pots. I had so many that I decided to transplant the extras into the 32 inch pot that I was going to use for carrots. When I got done I had filled the big pot. I believe I have around a hundred radish plants. Wow! They only take 3 to 4 weeks to be full grown. We will have a lot of one inch radishes.

I went back to the writing chair and decided to re-edit Chapter 41 to cut out unneeded words and adverbs. Adverbs really clutter-up good sentences. I finished it, and tomorrow I will re-read both chapters one more time and then replace Chapter 41 in my main manuscript, and add Chapter 42, calling this the end of Part 1. It will be right at 50,000 words or about 250 pages.

I got a docking hub for the Chromebook today from Amazon. It will allow me to plug five plugs that normally plug into the laptop, into the hub, and now just one plug hooks everything up to the Chromebook. Way easier to make the laptop a desktop, and way less clutter.

We had leftover chicken in our salads tonight and did our own things. I watched the pilot episode of “Warehouse 13”. I had watched this series a long time ago and really liked it.

Time for bed…
